BLAIR MILLER is the founder of NextWork, a venture capital firm building companies addressing the opportunities and challenges related to the future of work. Most recently Blair co-founded Blue like an Orange Sustainable Capital, an emerging markets sustainable investment fund. Blair has built her career at the intersection of business and philanthropy most recently working at the office of Ray Chambers where she supported the offices efforts in impact investing and innovative financing with a particular focus on healthcare in Nigeria and India. Miller spent the early part of her career at Acumen, impact investment fund that invests in enterprises that serve the poor in India, Pakistan, West and East Africa, and Latin America.
Blair is a senior lecturer at Yale University, a trustee of the Africa Center, and a term member at the Council on Foreign Relations. Blair holds an MBA from the University of Michigan and a BA in English literature from the University of Virginia.
