Headquartered in New York City, Invest Africa US represents a community of members who share a common interest in stimulating investment, economic growth, employment and the reduction of poverty in Africa. Invest Africa US provides its members with a non-partisan platform to access and share credible first-hand information and relationships to promote business and sustainable development in Africa.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Lori Spivey, Florida Africa Foundation Founder and Managing Director, has nearly 20 years’ experience in health care, consumer products, and consulting. She was previously a Principal with Boston Consulting Group (BCG) where she specialized in health care, consumer products, and emerging markets in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Prior to BCG, Lori worked for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Zambia, Elsevier Science in the Netherlands, and Procter & Gamble in the U.S.
Mohan is a member of the DBSA’s Group Executive Committee, with accountability for deal origination and client relationship management in South Africa and the rest of the African continent. The Origination/Coverage division works closely with the DBSA’s clients to develop integrated solutions bringing together the DBSA’s product offering composed of technical assistance, project development and long term financing. His teams cover the energy, transport, ICT, water/sanitation, education/health and municipal sectors. In FY2018/19 his teams achieved a record R45Bn (~$3.2Bn) of funding approvals. Mohan is involved in a number of global initiatives focused on infrastructure and sustainable development.
